Hand feed the rare Indo-Pacific Dolphin’s in Tin Can Bay with Barnacles Dolphin Centre. It is an amazing experience!
Plan to arrive between 7:00 and 8:00 AM, with 7:00 AM sharp being recommended to join the line-up early, especially during peak periods and weekends. The dolphins generally arrive early, and feeding begins as soon as they come in. Upon arrival, visitors are welcome to join the volunteers in the water to meet these beautiful mammals.
Important Notes
- Fish Provided: Fish are supplied by the centre for feeding.
- Supervised Feeding: Feeding is supervised by trained volunteers to ensure the safety and well-being of both dolphins and visitors.
- Wild Dolphins: The dolphins are wild and come to the shore voluntarily; their arrival is not guaranteed.
- Respectful Interaction: Touching or attempting to touch the dolphins is prohibited to ensure their natural behavior is maintained.
